Qualifications: · a “B” average in course · a faculty recommendation · a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher · effective communication skills Duties: · tutor students in course content and assignments · encourage independent and critical thinking skills · coach the tutees in study strategies to work toward increasing independence · participate in required tutor training and professional development · attend tutor team meetings · maintain a professional demeanor and dress code · complete required notes and feedback on each tutee |
