- Staffing the Circulation Desk [greet patrons]
- Charging out books and reserve materials to patrons [assist with access]
- Directing patrons to the location of library services and materials [assist with access]
- Using the online catalog to help patrons conduct basic searches [assist with access]
- Maintaining the stacks by shelving materials and ensuring correct call number order on shelves [organize resources]
- Assisting patrons in the use of the library's computers and photocopiers
